My daughter's teacher never got a teacher appreciation poster. It breaks my heart that her teacher didn't get that, so I stayed up late tonight making one. Not my best work, but it beats nothing.

Dandelions

How can anyone look at this and think dandelions are noxious weeds? I saw several people out spraying them today.

I love them; I think they are pretty flowers. I will admit that I let my kids pick them to their hearts' content, which I don't allow with regular flowers. Maybe that is one of the reasons I like them.

5th grade day at the symphony

Today K got to go to the symphony. She dressed up, curled her hair and everything. Unfortunately, she has my impossible to curl hair, so it's already straight again, and she hadn't even left for school.

My idea of a joke

Yes folks, those are PINK satin sheets. I found them on clearance at Target for $12, and decided to play a little joke on my dh.
